FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – May 1, 2013
Toronto, ON Suetables a small online Toronto-based jewelry business is celebrating SickKids Foundation’s Healthy and Happy month by donating 20% of online May sales.
From May 1 to May 31, Suetables will donate 20% of each sale to SickKids Foundation in support of The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids). As an extra incentive - if customers spend more than $100 on jewelry then they will get a BONUS subscription to Today's Parent Magazine included with their purchase - valued at $14.95.
After SickKids saved a special friend, Ben, age 4, with a bone marrow transplant, Suetables launched her jewelry business in 2005 along with a Ben Believe dog tag and has been giving back to the hospital ever since.
“It is a no-brainer,” says owner and designer Sue Henderson whose small Canadian online company has raised close to $100,000 for SickKids Foundation. “If every small business donated what they could to help SickKids, children would be happier and healthier. What better way to give back than by purchasing your personalized Mother’s day or birthday gift(s) with Suetables this month? EVERY single purchase of ANY product at online at Suetables triggers a 20% of sale donation.”
SickKids Foundation's mission is to inspire communities to invest in health and scientific advances to improve the lives of children and their families in Canada and around the world. For more information, go to www.sickkidsfoundation.com or www.healthyandhappy.com
