Meet Charlie. Our sporty boy; my baby - wiry and fast with a raspy voice. He is the second youngest of our blended family of four kids (and two dogs). Determined. He loves to play sports and he loves to win. He has tiny broken bones in his heels from running too much. He runs anyway - the longer the distance, the better.
His favourite subject is “recess” and “gym”. When not at soccer, he is on the trampoline, playing ping pong or hanging out with his friends. He likes to wear shorts and T-shirts - even in the winter.
"When I grow up I am going to have three dogs - a Bermese, a Golden Retriever and a St. Bernard," Charlie told us last year.
"No kids? Why not?" I asked.
"I'd rather rescue dogs. Kids are difficult."
