ABOUT THE POSITION:
Suetables is seeking a passionate and creative driven team player with exceptional project management skills, a love of retail, story telling and beautiful design to run their social, email and digital marketing, manage, oversee and create digital assets, oversee photo shoots as well as all digital advertising.
The ideal candidate for this role is a self starter who thinks analytically and creatively with a background in marketing and an expert on Facebook and Google platforms.
You will deliver marketing through all stages: planning, execution, assessment, and improvement. We are looking for someone with 2+ years marketing experience working full-time (ie outside of university or college). Experience with a design program ie Canva, to elevate our graphic design material and emails is needed.
This job is a full-time job at the Suetables head office (not a remote job) - just north of our store at 2501 Yonge Street (near Eglinton). Reporting to the owner of Suetables, this role will work closely and collaboratively across all four shops and e-commerce to support the sales and create a beautiful branded look for Suetables.
Compensation based on experience and qualifications: $60,000+ annually for a full time role.

Responsibilities
- Develop paid marketing campaign strategies and drive execution of the campaign through to completion.
- Continually optimize and rebalance marketing activities to drive the highest ROP possible.
- Experiment with new concepts, platforms and strategies so we are benefiting from the latest tools and opportunities
- Utilizing Google Analytics to oversee / assess the success of marketing campaigns and identify areas of opportunity
- Oversee all digital assets
- Ability to design graphics for emails and ads (we use Klayviyo)
- Managing strategy and execution of social media ads, from ongoing campaigns to bigger promotional campaigns
AD CREATION:
- Research and understand the industry and buyer
- Create, test and analyze the effectiveness of different content across all paid channels. Continually asses best ways and practices to reach our customer.
- Monitor industry trends and work closely with our e-commerce team to test and refresh
SOCIAL MEDIA AND EMAIL CAMPAIGNS:
- Content creation
- Create marketing plan, social media strategy and tie ins to key holiday times and occasions.
- Build social media presence through daily posts and stories
- Provide exemplary customer service on Facebook and Instagram
- Post regular content on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest & Google
- Work closely with influencers to create cohesive brand partnerships
- Keep update shop hours on all listings
- Set up and launch online product promotions on emails or social media.
- Book and oversee photo shoots for marketing and website.
- Campaign development.
Data Analysis:
- Reviewing reports in Shopify to monitor product performance and identify opportunities to improve product sales through marking and social media efforts.
- Analyze each paid campaign' performance, report on results and act rapidly on findings.
- Identify key opportunities for growth and cost reductions and potentials obstacles to good performance.
Retail Marketing/ Store Support:
- Create in-store marketing materials and visuals
- Update Google business profiles with hours, photos, promotions and store updates.
- Create and support in-store promotions (ie Mother's day engraving event).
ABOUT THE ROLE
- A strategic and fearlessly creative growth marketer with 2+ years experience in social media, marketing and project management. Retail marketing background with in-store promotions is an asset.
- 2 + years digital marketing - google, facebook and instagram ads
- Detail oriented
- Degree in business, marketing or some other analytical area
- Expert in paid search, paid social, email marketing (Klaviyo) and SEO
- You are proficient in using core digital marketing tools - including Facebook AdsManager, Google Adwords, Google Analytics and enjoy experimenting with alternative platforms including TikTok and Pinterest.
- Equally able to operate at a strategic level and roll out your sleeves in executional tasks that come with an early-stage company.
- You are a good communicator and thrive working collaboratively with a friendly team.
- You have strong analytical skills and can analyze a marketing funnel; and identify growth opportunities and the ways to meet them.
- Time management skills
- Design program for emails ie adobe illustrator knowledge or something similar
- Experience in creating online forms, managing surveys a plus
- A passion for learning and proficiency in industry tools and processes to stay current with digital creation innovations and standards
- Ability to create reels for social media
- Knowledge of Shopify - a plus
- Knowledge of Klayvio and Canva (or similar program).
- Google Analytics Certified
- Social Advertising
- Have a pulse on marketing campaigns, trends and industry news
- A love of story telling, jewelry and fashion.
- A strong understanding of creative messaging strategy both at the channel and overall marketing level.
